U of M Rowing Team

I took the design from a PSD into a fully functional WordPress theme. Very straight forward site with some custom jquery for the scaling background, as well as the home page tabs.

This is a pretty straightforward listing page layout. It uses PHP variables for almost everything on the page, from the logo all the way down to the email address with subject and body information. Very simple, yet powerful and very user friendly.

HeartAED

HeartAED is located in Madison Heights, MI. They needed something that would allow them to update their own website when they wanted. There are a few custom items throughout the website, like the footer, RSS feed from Google and a few other things. Awesome project overall!

Northwestern Technological Institute

This was a fun little project that included regular HTML/CSS coupled with some cool AJAX and Jquery effects. I had the chance to learn some new Jquery techniques including adding classes to the menu based on the URL hash tag. Check out the finished product!

Coral Calcium 1

This site has been shut down as of April 1, 2011.
I developed Coral Calcium 1 with the help of WordPress and 1shoppingcart.com. I customized the wordpress theme so that the client could keep the ocean or coral reef feeling. I also customized the buttons from 1shoppingcart.com.

Panoramic Scrolling Website

This type of site is not as limited as it seems. The idea of a panoramic or side scrolling site is to give the sense of movement through some type of scenery. Virtual tours, landscapes or elaborate displays can all use this type of functionality. Everything on this type of site is customizable and adjustable. This site can run a little bit higher in terms of investment and time. However, when rightfully done the return on investment can be huge.

Madcups

MADCUPS is a small business based off the east coast. They make French madelines and cupcakes.

Based in New Jersey, MADCUPS has fans both locally and across the country and we get busier and busier every time someone tastes them. They’re impossible to keep to yourself and once your friends try them, they’ll order too. That’s why we’re happy to keep baking them.

Georgios Fine Jewelry is a Metro-Detroit Jewelry store.

This site was created with a minimalist, yet elegant goal from the start.

Aventric

Aventric.com is a medical video repair facility located in South Eastern Michigan.

Their old website was extremely date in both aesthetics and back-end functionality/code. They wanted an affordable solution that they could manage themselves if necessary. We chose WordPress for just those reasons.

CSS Sprite Breadcrumbs

These are made with 1 image that contains multiple versions of the breadcrumbs. They work no matter how long each breadcrumb is, within about 1000px or so. Very lightweight code and validates in XHTML 1.0 Strict! Best of all, it’s cross-browser friendly!

Error 404 Page

This was a graphic I wanted to do as a result of reading a post with creative 404 or “Web page not found” pages.
I took a Google map and some stock images and created all the dynamic lighting and shadows myself.

Crime Scene

This was a very fun tutorial to follow. I kind of modified it a little bit and didn’t include everything that was in the original one. But I did create some interesting effects.
